This magnificent vista is at the heart of the lodge, and all the rooms and guest areas are perfectly positioned to make the most of the surroundings.
The lodge reflects the ambience of a tented camp but provides the comfort and protection of a permanent building. From the spacious main areas to the tented rooms, there are plenty of spaces to connect with fellow guests, enjoy some quiet time, or to simply relax and sink into the ‘Wolwedans Way.’

Both, in effect. Desert Lodge is designed to give the ambience of a tented camp with the comfort and protection of a permanent building, and the rooms are tented in feel. Every room and guest area is positioned to make the most of the view over dunes, mountains and open sky.
What is included in the rate?
Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and standard beverages, meaning beers, ciders, soft drinks, water and house wines. Rates start from NAD 14,900 per person per night. The rate table lists one season in a different currency, so please let us confirm current pricing before you book.
Are children welcome?
Children seven years and above are welcome at Desert Lodge. The main areas are generous and there are several places to gather or find quiet, which suits families who want to be together without being on top of one another.
