Questions about this 10-day flying safari

What does the ten-day version cover?

Ten days and nine nights beginning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. The highlights of the route are Amboseli, with its views of Mount Kilimanjaro and some of Africa's largest elephants, the 57,000-acre Loisaba Conservancy in Laikipia, and three nights in the Masai Mara, ending with a flight from Keekorok airstrip to Wilson Airport.

What aircraft do we fly in?

SkySafari uses its own nine-seater executive class aircraft, flying you directly between properties. There is a single check-in and an additional luggage allowance, and the flights are built into the itinerary, so moving between parks is quick and straightforward rather than a long day on the road.

How do the prices change through the year?

Rates start from US$12,500 per person sharing for 1 April to 31 May 2026. From 5 January to 31 March, 1 to 30 June and 1 November to 19 December the price is US$13,810, and the peak windows of 1 to 4 January, 1 July to 31 October and 20 to 31 December are US$15,204.

What are the camps like?

You stay with Elewana throughout. The Loisaba camp has twelve airy en suite tents in contemporary African style, with open-air dining, a lounge and deck. In the Mara the camp consists of a main mess area and 16 tents, built in canvas and wood to echo the tented safaris of the 1920s, each with a private deck and outdoor shower.

Can we add extra nights at the end?

Yes. Stay-longer extensions are available, including time on the Indian Ocean coast or a continuation into the Serengeti. Since the itinerary already runs on scheduled SkySafari flights, adding days at either end is usually straightforward. Let us know what you have in mind and we will price it up.
