Fly-in Safari

Why waste time on the roads when you can fly? A fly-in safari takes you directly to some of the remotest parks and regions of Africa without wasting any time on dusty, potholed roads.

Why Choose a Fly-in Safari ?

  • A fly-in safari is much faster than travelling by road. You can be in some of the remotest parks of Africa in a matter of a couple hours.
  • A fly-in safari is less tiring than travelling long distances by road. Since you’ll be spending most your time on game drives inside vehicles, it’s refreshing to be in the skies getting to the parks.
  • While flights are more expensive than hiring a private vehicle, if you are travelling in a small group (like 2 people) it works out to be more cost-effective.
  • Since most airstrips in parks and reserves are rather basic, they can only take light aircrafts like Cessnas, usually 6 to 10 seaters.
  • If you are claustrophobic, we would not recommend flying on these small planes.
  • If you suffer from motion sickness, take a tablet an hour before boarding the flight.
