Laba Mama Simba is the only luxury lodge located 35 minutes from Kilimanjaro airport. It takes about 1 hour from Arusha airport. For private flights, the Lodge has its own airstrip 10 minutes away.
Laba Mama Simba is located in the heart of North Dolly, a vast 700-hectare estate with no fences. This refined lodge comprises six Garden Cottages, a Master Suite, a Garden Room and a Pool Room. The setting is exceptional. It is the only lodge in Arusha where Cape eland, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, impala, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle roam freely in a wild bush landscape. A unique opportunity for our guests to set off after breakfast on a walking safari in the company of a Massai guide, and get up close and personal with these animals that the absence of predators has made fearless.

Unusually so. The lodge is 35 minutes from Kilimanjaro airport and about an hour from Arusha airport, and for private flights it has its own airstrip 10 minutes away. That makes it a practical first or last night rather than a long transfer at the end of a trip.

You can. The lodge sits in a 700-hectare unfenced estate in North Dolly, and guests set off after breakfast on a walking safari with a Maasai guide. Cape eland, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, impala and Thomson's and Grant's gazelle roam here, made fearless by the absence of predators.
