3.4 / 514 ratings

Wilderness Little Vumbura is set on a compact island with endless views of the floodplains. Bring your family and friends and take over all six tented suites. With few boundaries from the bush, wildlife seems almost within arm’s reach.

Marvel at the sheer size of a buffalo herd, (hundreds-strong) moving between islands. Keep a lookout for endangered African wild dogs, a privileged sighting, and leopards staking their territories. Spot our resident elephant, often seen around the island, eating the sweet fruit dropped by the African mangosteen trees.

WHY CHOOSE LITTLE VUMBURA CAMP?

  • The habitat mix means that just about every species found in the Okavango can be seen
  • Excellent predator sightings are possible all year round
  • Epitomising island living, this intimate camp is accessible only by boat
