Only for families with older teenagers, as children sixteen years and above are welcome. Travellers with younger children would be better placed at MalaMala Camp, which accepts all ages, and we can compare the two for you.
What are the villas like?
All eight are grand freestanding villas set among giant riverine trees on the banks of the Sand River, each overlooking the lush floodplains and the river beyond. The lodge is deliberately secluded, and the emphasis is on privacy and space rather than a communal camp atmosphere.

A library of rare African books and works of art, an African-themed air-conditioned dining room, a historic bar hung with photographs of the area's pioneers, a large wooden safari deck where meals are served, a safari boutique and a small fitness room with a steam room.
