Is the lodge suitable for a wedding or honeymoon?
It is often used for both. The lodge is small and exclusive, with tent-style rooms on the river bank and gourmet plated meals, and it is described as an ideal venue for small romantic weddings as well as a setting for honeymooners. Do tell us early if you are planning an event.
What is included, and what should you budget separately for?
Rates cover all meals, teas, coffees and snacks, dawn and dusk safaris in open Land Rovers, Wi-Fi, tourism levy, reserve entrance fee and rhino levy, and transfers from the southern boom gate. Drinks on the dusk safari are limited to one per person. Airport and road transfers, laundry, spa, mini bar and premium brands are extra.

Becks lies on the bed of the Makutsi River within Karongwe Private Game Reserve, with close access to the Greater Kruger. Children of 12 and over are welcome. Rates start from ZAR 9,350 per person per night for the 2025 low season, with 2026 figures higher.

- Any transfers from Southern boom gate are included.

- Airport and road transfers, including chartered flights landing at Hoedspruit Civil Air Base.
