Elephant Valley Lodge is surrounded by the peaceful wilderness of the African bush. It lies in a unique position overlooking the Lesoma Valley in the Chobe District, which is home to the largest population of African elephant in the world. The animals and birds move freely in the valley between the game-rich conservation areas of the neighboring Chobe Game Reserve and the National Parks of Zimbabwe.
From the comfort and tranquility of the lodge you can watch creatures great and small, dropping by for a thirst-quenching drink at the Lodge’s waterhole. At Elephant Valley Lodge guests will enjoy activities including daily 4 x 4 game viewing safaris and boat cruises along the Chobe River in Chobe National Park. Day trips to the Victoria Falls either in Zambia or Zimbabwe can easily be arranged.

The rate covers two activities a day, and they are deliberately different from one another: a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River, often with elephant coming down to drink, and an afternoon game drive taking in Chobe and the Kasane Forest Reserve. It means you see the area from the water and from a vehicle in the same day.
Can we see game without leaving the lodge?
Often, yes. The lodge overlooks the Lesoma Valley, home to the largest population of African elephant in the world, and animals move freely between Chobe Game Reserve and the parks of Zimbabwe. Its own waterhole draws animals through the day and night, and the night sounds carry hyena, barking jackal and sometimes lion.
Can we add Victoria Falls to the stay?
Day trips to Victoria Falls on either the Zambian or Zimbabwean side can be arranged from the lodge. Forest Tents are from US$531 per person per night between November and April and US$680 from May to October, including all meals, select local drinks, two activities daily, park fees, bed levy and transfers to and from Kasane International Airport for scheduled flights.
