Tucked away along a beautiful, acacia studded river line, in the heart of Ol Pejeta Conservancy’s exclusive wilderness area. Built in 2017, The Safari Cottages is the brainchild of safari industry veterans, Andy and Sonja Webb who wanted to create an environment that makes you feel like you have always belonged here. Do you get your own vehicle and guide?
Yes. The fully inclusive rate covers a private game viewing vehicle and guide, along with transfers to and from Nanyuki or Kamok airstrip, all meals and picnics, the bar, night drives and bush walks. Guides are handpicked from the surrounding community.
How private is a cottage?
Each cottage comes with its own team, including a private chef, housekeeper, waiter, groundskeeper and night askaris, so it works as a self-contained home in the bush. The cottages sit along an acacia-studded river line in Ol Pejeta's exclusive wilderness area.
How are rates calculated?
They are quoted per person per night based on two people sharing, from US$505 in the April to mid-June window and rising in the busier months. Children of all ages are welcome, which is worth knowing when comparing with camps that set a minimum age.
