Tucked into the trees is Onguma Forest Camp, an intimate and relaxed bush lodge with a taste of yesteryear safari-style. An impressive wine cellar complements delicious meals served under the stars, whilst the large waterhole ensures there is game activity to catch your eye, even while sipping a drink in the pool. Blending into the surrounds, offering a mixture of comfort and privacy the bungalows feature thatched roofs, wooden furniture and private verandas to enjoy the sounds of the forest. The lodge consists of 4 free-standing Heritage Bungalows, 3 Bush Suites that each have two rooms with an inter-leading bathroom, 3 free-standing Explorer Bungalows, and a secluded Honeymoon Bungalow with a double hammock in the trees and a romantic outside shower and bath! The down-to-earth friendly character of the lodge and staff ensures you will return.

Four free-standing Heritage Bungalows, three Bush Suites each with two rooms and an interleading bathroom, three free-standing Explorer Bungalows and a secluded Honeymoon Bungalow with a double hammock in the trees and an outside shower and bath. All have thatched roofs, wooden furniture and private verandas.
Is there good game viewing from the camp?
A large waterhole keeps activity in view even from the pool, and Onguma's water-level hide lets you sit quietly and watch unobserved at eye level with the water. The reserve holds over thirty animal species, with a healthy black rhino and leopard population, and hyena are often seen and heard.
Is the camp fenced, and can children stay?
Forest Camp is unfenced, and for that reason children under the age of seven are not permitted. Rates start from NAD 3,040 per person per night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, which also covers transfers to and from the Onguma airstrip, VAT and the social development and tourism levies.
