No. Tawana is entirely unfenced, so wildlife wanders through the heart of the camp unhindered. That is part of the appeal, and it means staff escort guests to and from their suites after dark. Lion, leopard and healthy populations of African wild dog live close to the lodge.
How large are the suites?
The suites run to roughly 100 square metres, and family units to about 130, each with a separate lounge, a private terrace with plunge pool, an outdoor sala and air conditioning over the beds. There are eight in total, though the page gives two different figures for how many are family units, so we will confirm that for you.
What is the setting like through the year?
