Wildplaces Africa previously ran a circuit rate, under which five nights combined across its lodges were charged as four, alongside a 10 per cent reduction on stays of six nights or more. Frequently Asked Questions
Are the Wildplaces Africa offers still running?
No. Both the circuit discount and the long stay discount are marked as discontinued and should not be counted on when setting a budget. Their stated validity ran to 30 June 2026, but the discontinued status overrides that. We ask Wildplaces what current rates and terms apply before we quote.
What did the Wildplaces circuit rate involve?
Five nights combined across the group's lodges, with payment for four and the fifth night free. It applied in low season only, and the free night was taken against the lodge with the lowest rate. A similar structure may return in future, so we check the position each time we price a Uganda trip.
Which Uganda lodges would a combined stay cover?
Apoka Safari Lodge in Kidepo Valley, Semliki Safari Lodge in the Semliki Wildlife Reserve, and Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The three sit a long way apart, in the north-east, west and south-west of the country, so a combined itinerary normally depends on internal flights.
What did the long stay reduction give on six nights or more?
Ten per cent off, on bookings of six nights or more at the Wildplaces lodges. It is no longer available, and neither it nor the circuit rate can be applied to a 2026 or 2027 booking. The three lodges themselves remain open and bookable through us at their current rates.
