Eight plaster and timber guest bandas with thatch roofs and glass fronts, six doubles and two twins, built to reflect the local style and named individually after Bwindi gorillas. Each has an en-suite shower room with flushing toilet and double vanity, walk-in mosquito nets and 240v lighting. Wi-Fi and charging are in the main lodge.

How much does a stay cost?

A Standard Banda is from US$820 per person per night from October to mid-December and March to May, and US$1,370 from June to September and over the festive months. The rate covers accommodation and meals, house alcoholic and soft drinks, laundry, activities at the lodge and one complimentary 30-minute massage per guest.
