The camp is set up solely for your group in remote parts of Gorongosa that few people reach, with expert walking guides. Rates are quoted per camp, from US$5,280 for one to six guests, in the 1 June to 30 November window. It is mobile and deliberately stripped back.
What is the full-day excursion?
A stay includes a full day built around a guided hike to Murombodzi Falls, a tour of the Gorongosa Restoration Project's coffee initiative and a picnic lunch. You can also add a scenic helicopter flight to or from the mountain, which shortens the journey and gives a different view of the park.
Who can join, and what is included?
Children of 12 years and above are welcome. Inclusions are not published for this camp, so please ask us and we will confirm what the rate covers before you commit. Walking is central to the experience, so a reasonable level of mobility helps.
