The main focus of the property is the ‘Estate House’ which in fact was a renovation of one of the original barns on the estate. Its contemporary Cape Dutch design incorporates many of the features of a typical ‘lang skuur’ with a ceiling of whole tree trunks, gables with windows and a deep ‘stoep’ overlooking the estate.

Set out as a spacious and comfortable sitting room with accompanying glass – enclosed dining in the main house is the hospitality centre of the estate where guests can ‘feel at home’ whilst being cared for by our willing, friendly and well trained ‘host family’.

There are just ten guest suites on the estate, arranged in five thatch roofed cottages. They are all of a similar design and standard, enjoying spectacular views over the olive grove or the lake in the foreground and to the far flung horizons of the Klein Karoo.

Each suite has a spacious double or twin bedded room, complete with all modern day facilities such as wifi, tv, security safe, refrigerator, tea and coffee maker, as well as an open log fire and comfortable lounge seating. It also has a well-furnished, spacious, covered step (verandah) overlooking indigenous planted gardens. The bathroom has a free standing bath, an outside shower and a separately enclosed WC.
