Questions about Leopard Mountain

Is there a minimum age for children?

Yes, only children over 12 can stay at Leopard Mountain. The eight suites also cannot take a third bed, so a family of three needs two suites. If you are travelling with younger children we can suggest lodges in the same part of Zululand that accept them.

What is the outlook from the lodge?

The suites look down over the meandering Msunduze River and across to the distant Lebombo Mountains, where the Great Rift Valley begins. Leopard Mountain sits high within the 58,000-acre Manyoni Private Game Reserve, so the sense of space is a large part of the appeal alongside the Big 5 game viewing.

Are drinks and safaris covered by the rate?

Both are. From ZAR 10,574 per person per night includes your suite, breakfast, a picnic basket lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, two safaris daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, and Wi-Fi. It is a family-run lodge of only eight suites, so service stays personal.
