With just five guest rooms (a sixth due in 2027) and a team of highly experienced guides, life at Musekese Camp moves at your own pace and according to your interests. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, each with en-suite flushing toilets and on-demand hot and cold showers. Powered entirely by a well-configured solar system, the camp runs smoothly and sustainably — with ample energy to keep your devices charged and your drinks perfectly chilled, day and night.
What truly sets Musekese apart, however, is its setting. Before 2012, no tourist had ever set foot in this remote and wildlife-rich corner of Kafue National Park. Through years of dedication and conservation work by Phil, Ty, and their team, the area has become a thriving haven — still wonderfully exclusive and among the most unspoiled tracts of African wilderness you can find.

How small is the camp, and can we bring children?
There are just five brand-new guest rooms, spacious and comfortable, with en-suite flushing toilets and on-demand hot water showers. Power comes from a well configured solar setup with enough surplus in the main area to keep devices charged and drinks cold. Children are welcome by prior arrangement, on a sole-use basis.
What is the game viewing like, and what do rates cover?
Sightings have improved year on year through increased protection and patient habituation. All the major predators are present, with leopard and lion well represented, elephant herds visible through the dry season, and plains game from sable and hartebeest to zebra and puku in their thousands. Rates from US$600 per person per night include full board, standard drinks, laundry, transfers and daily guided activities.

Child Policy
Children are welcome at Musekese Camp by prior arrangement through the sole use of the camp, subject to availability. Rates are 50% of the Rack rates and refer to children under the age of 14. Note that children below the age of 14 are not permitted on walking safaris.
