Nsefu Camp, South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
A Tented Camp in Zambia
Camp Details
On the banks of the Luangwa River, in the remote Nsefu sector on the north side of South Luangwa National Park, you will find the historic Nsefu camp. It was the very first photographic safari camp in Zambia, which dates to the fifties. We took it over in1999, and now welcome just 12 guests in the six refurbished brick-and-thatch en-suite rondavels, each with open views across the river. Robin Pope Safaris are the only company operating in this sector of the park making for an exclusive holiday experience.
WHY CHOOSE NSEFU?
- Every room opening up to what can simply be described as the best view in the South Luangwa.
- Nsefu is one steeped in history and was built in 1951 and barring some upgrades the camp and rooms are still in the same place in the original style.
- Nsefu Camp offers charm, history, exclusivity and comfort.
