Making ample use of space, the lodge facilities are sprawled along the edge of the waterhole and following a small, dry riverbed. A fever-tree garden, a viewing deck with rim-flow pool, a gym and a spa all occupy their own space in peace and privacy.

Can we watch game from the lodge itself?
Yes, the lodge is laid out along the edge of a waterhole and a small dry riverbed, and the waterhole is where much of the viewing happens. A fever-tree garden, a viewing deck with a rim-flow pool, a gym and a spa each occupy their own space, so it rarely feels busy.
Is there anything for children to do?
There is. Tracking activities are laid on for children alongside bush picnics, and children of all ages are welcome. The suites were designed to be lived in by every generation, so families tend to work well here. Wildlife conservation experiences and helicopter flights over the Blyde Canyon are also offered.
What does the rate include?
From ZAR 27,000 per person per night for the Madolo, Timaka and Botsotso suites through 2026. Included are all meals, beverages other than premium brands, twice-daily safaris in an open vehicle with FGASA-accredited guides and a tracker, additional bushveld walks at the guide's discretion, Thornybush Airstrip transfers, emergency evacuation cover, laundry and Wi-Fi.
