What is the architecture like?
The original chunky, rounded adobe style, inspired by West and North Africa, remains, now combined with lightweight canvas and timber for a modern take on the classic safari lodge. Suspended wooden walkways and shaded decks follow the life of the Sand River.
How many suites are there?
Twelve, each with its own private plunge pool. Interiors draw on a mix of local tribal culture and the animal kingdom, and the open spaces and natural light give the lodge a sense of spaciousness. There is also a stargazing safari for clear nights.
Is it suitable for children?
Children of all ages are welcome at Ebony. Rates include accommodation, all meals and beverages with premium wines, spirits and liqueurs but not French champagne, twice-daily game drives, walking safaris with guides and trackers, return road transfers between the Singita airstrip and the lodges, laundry and WiFi where applicable.
