No, the camp closes for part of the year because of persistent rains in the Usangu Wetlands. Do ask us for the current season dates before fixing your travel plans, as they shape when a Ruaha itinerary including Usangu will work.

An unusually broad list: game drives, night drives with a thermal camera, walking safaris, boating and fishing, a star cube sleepout, a Trails camp sleepout, and camera trapping that contributes to the camp's biodiversity audit. Full board, house drinks other than champagne, laundry and Jongomero airstrip transfers are included; park and camping fees are not.

Usangu Expedition Camp Rate Includes: Full board accommodation, all house drinks (except champagne), game drives, night drives with thermal camera, walking safaris, star cube sleepout, Trails camp sleepout, boating and fishing, camera trapping and contributing to biodiversity audit data collection, transfers to/from Jongomero Airstrip, TDL.
Excludes: Park fees, camping fees, Asilia conservation charge, transfers other than to/from nearest airstrip or Usangu Expedition Camp, flying doctors/medical evacuation insurance, flights & airport taxes, gratuities, items of personal nature, additional lunch (picnic or in house) US$25pp.
