Walking in the Wild: Serengeti 2025 is ideal for Photographers, Wildlife lovers, Walking Enthusiasts and Adventure Lovers.
The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most famous national parks, spread over a sprawling grassland area of almost 15,000 square kilometres. It is home to the iconic Great Wildebeest Migration when over two million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle migrate in search of greener pastures. Unlike the Masai Mara in Kenya, the migration can be viewed in the Serengeti (Tanzania) almost throughout the year. The Serengeti is also home to big cats (lion, leopard, cheetah) and other predators and scavengers such as wild dogs and hyena. Notably, it is home to almost 3000 lions, one of the largest lion populations anywhere in the world. The park offers a remarkable wildlife safari experience with its wide range of wildlife all around the year.
Best months to visit: Peak seasons months are from July to October, when you can see the Great Migration and the river crossings in Northern Serengeti. February is also a great time to visit for the calving season.
