Which flights are covered by the Machaba Hwange offer?
Victoria Falls Airport to Robins airstrip for Deteema Springs, or the reverse, and Manga airstrip to Victoria Falls Airport from Verney's Camp, or the reverse. The inter-camp flight between Deteema Springs and Verney's Camp is not included and is quoted separately. The offer applies only to full-paying guests, needs a minimum of two travelling, and runs 1 June to 31 October 2026.
Does the offer cover children, and do they pay a reduced rate?
Children aged six to eleven are welcome on this offer but pay the adult rate, so there is no child reduction attached to it. Younger children are not mentioned in the terms, which is worth checking before you plan around it. Chalo Africa will confirm the camps' minimum age policies for Deteema Springs and Verney's Camp alongside the flight arrangements.
Are the Machaba stay three, pay two and honeymoon deals still available?
Not as published. Both ran through 2025, along with the Secret Season stay six pay four and stay nine pay six structures, and all three are now marked discontinued. They are listed here as a record of what the group has offered rather than as something bookable. Chalo Africa can ask Machaba whether equivalent terms will be released for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
How many nights do I need at each Hwange camp?
A minimum of two nights at Deteema Springs and two at Verney's Camp, so four nights in Hwange in total. Both stays are required for the flights to be included. Machaba's other properties, including Daka Plains in Hwange and the Botswana camps at Khwai, Gomoti and Chobe, sit outside this particular offer but can be added to the same itinerary.
