Amanzi is synonymous with luxury African accommodation. Nestled beneath an ancient grove of Jackelberry and Apple Leaf Trees, high on the banks of the endlessly impressive Zambezi River, Amanzi offers some of Africa’s most incredible wildlife experiences and epic big game viewing.
This intimate, luxury safari camp has just four classically styled tented luxury suites. Relax on the deck of your suite and enjoy the magnificent river views, or take a short stroll along raised wooden walkways to the lounge and dining room which in turn flow through to the pool and teak sundeck, which offers sweeping vistas across the ceaselessly flowing Zambezi from our elevated riverbank position.

Is there anything suitable for a family with children?
There is a dedicated family unit, made up of two of the tents placed back to back to give two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which works well for groups travelling with young children. Children aged eight and older are welcome. Beyond that, the camp has only four tented suites in total, so it stays quiet.
Can we bring our own wine or spirits?
No, privately purchased alcohol may not be brought onto the property for consumption. All local beverages are covered by the rate instead, along with accommodation, all meals, two activities a day, laundry, Wi-Fi and transfers from both Kulefu and Jeki airstrips. Dining runs from continental breakfast through buffet lunch and high tea to a plated three-course dinner.
How close is the camp to the Zambezi?
It sits high on the riverbank beneath a grove of jackalberry and apple leaf trees, and the suites have decks looking straight out over the water.
