Do you get a private guide?
Yes, and it is one of the few camps in Africa to guarantee it. Morning and evening game drives are with a private guide and vehicle, and Muchindas, the camp's butlers, look after you between activities. The camp was established in 1996 as Zambia's most luxurious bush camp.
What are the age limits for activities?
Children of eight and older are welcome at the camp. Walking safaris carry a minimum age of 12, and canoeing a minimum age of 15. Worth planning around if you are travelling with teenagers who have their heart set on the canoe trip.
What can you do on the water?
A full day canoe trip with a picnic lunch en route is the standout, and scenic boat cruises are a relaxed way to watch game come down to drink. Tiger fishing is also offered. Kigelia House, with two en suite bedrooms and a deck pool, is available for private stays.
