The Evolve Back Gham Dhao Lodge, is situated in its own 11,000-hectare private game reserve the northern border of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Classically African in style with a relaxed informal ambience, the lodge is the perfect gateway to the Kalahari.
The lodge boasts three categories of unique tented accommodations, strategically secluded to ensure a feeling of privacy and intimacy at all times.
The main lodge consists of a lounge, dining room, and bar area housed beneath a pitched thatch and timber structure, a swimming pool, sundeck, a well-appointed bar, and an expansive boma eating area.

Yes. The lodge sits in its own 11,000-hectare private game reserve on the northern border of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, and morning and afternoon drives run within that concession. A night game drive is available on request, which is not possible inside many national parks.
Can we spend time with the San?
A walk with the San is included in the rate, an interactive session that introduces their ancient culture and their knowledge of the desert. The lodge presents the Kalahari through its night skies, its unusual wildlife and its resident San people rather than through big game alone.
What is included, and does it suit families?
It is well suited to families and children of all ages are welcome. Rates from US$880 per person per night include accommodation, all meals, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, morning and afternoon drives, birding, the San walk, a night drive on request, a Kalahari sundowner, a bush dinner, unlimited laundry and taxes. The lodge has its own airstrip.
