Laba Grumeti Art Lodge comprises 11 luxury suites (120m2) with stunning views of the plain and a 2-bedroom family suite, all bordered by a large terrace overlooking the vast Grumeti plain.

Numerous suspended terraces, a spa, a gym and a spectacular 22m infinity pool built into the edge of the hill allow for real moments of relaxation between safaris. As with all Laba Laba lodges, the food is primarily organic and the biodynamic wines come from South Africa and France.
Activities focus on the Great Migration, which takes place in May, June, and July, as well as other crossings in September, October, and November. Walking safaris can be arranged with our experienced guides.

There are 11 luxury suites of 120 square metres, plus a two-bedroom family suite, all bordered by a large terrace looking over the Grumeti plain. Suspended terraces, a spa, a gym and a 22-metre infinity pool built into the edge of the hill fill the hours between drives.
What is the thermal spa?
The lodge has natural pools of volcanic hot water for bathing, and the water has been analysed by a French laboratory. It sits alongside the more familiar spa and gym facilities, and is an unusual thing to find on a Serengeti itinerary.
When is the wildlife viewing at its best?
Activities focus on the Great Migration in May, June and July, with further crossings in September, October and November. Walking safaris can be arranged with the guides. Rates start from US$1,095 per person per night for a Luxury Tented Suite, and children aged five and above are welcome.
