Yes. Historical tours run to the ancient trading port of Bagamoyo on the mainland opposite, which gives the stay a cultural dimension beyond the beach. It is an easy half day out from the lodge and a useful contrast to a purely coastal few days.

Bookings with children 8 and under must book a private vehicle.
Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians at all times, no child activities/babysitting offered in safari camps.
