Located on the shores of the warm and azure Indian Ocean in northern Mozambique, lies the remotely, but specifically chosen Nuarro Lodge. Backed by the wild Mozambican bush, fringed with old and established baobab trees to the back; and fronted by the calm and aquamarine bay of Nanatha, the lodge is peppered along a more than 2km-long, powdery-white beach in the middle. Built from natural materials, by the local community, makes the environmentally sensitive. Nuarro Lodge, the ideal venue in which to relax and unwind in these equally pristine surroundings. Is Nuarro a good base for diving?
It is set up for it, with direct access to the sea, the continental shelf close by and pristine reefs. Boat diving and dive equipment hire are charged separately from the chalet rate, as are guided and motorised activities, so we will build those into your quote.
What do children pay?
Children aged four and under stay free. Those aged five to 12 pay US$70 and 13 to 18 pay US$90 per child when sharing a chalet with two parents, up to a maximum of two children aged five to 18 plus one under five per chalet.
What is included in the chalet rate?
From around US$150 per person per night: accommodation, three meals, coffee and tea, filtered water, village tours, unguided snorkelling, kayaking and mountain bikes, one Muarusi private beach picnic, a 30-minute massage per adult, donations to the ANAN Clinica and VAT. Transfers, drinks and bottled water are extra. The lodge sits on a 2km white beach on Nanatha bay, built by the local community from natural materials.
