Can a larger group take the camp together?

On special request, Somalisa Acacia can be booked in combination with Somalisa Camp for groups of up to 20 people. A private guide and tour leader can also be arranged on request. These need to be set up in advance, so let us know early if you are planning a group trip.

Are the tents comfortable through Hwange's temperature swings?

They are built for it. Each tent has gauze sliding doors, a glass-fronted wood-burning fireplace for cold winter nights and an overhead fan for hot summer days, plus an en suite with flush toilet, indoor and outdoor showers and a copper slipper-style bathtub. Rates run from US$630 per person per night in the green season to US$1,390 between June and October.
