How do I get eight nights in Botswana for the price of six?
Split the stay across two Great Plains camps, four nights at each, for travel between 1 October and 19 December 2026. Two nights then come free. The alternative within the same offer is four nights at a single camp paying for three. The camps in the group include Duba Plains, Duba Explorers, Selinda, Selinda Explorers and Zarafa.
Which Great Plains camps qualify for the free helicopter transfer?
Only the Reserve Collection camps. Six nights split between any two of them, travelling between 1 June and 30 September 2026, includes a complimentary inter-camp helicopter transfer. Great Plains states the offer is not valid at its Explorers Collection camps, so the qualifying list is narrower than the full Botswana portfolio. What proof is needed for the 25 per cent honeymoon and vow renewal discount?
A marriage certificate dated within six months of the ceremony, or evidence that you are celebrating a fortieth or later wedding anniversary. Great Plains requires this at the time of the reservation enquiry rather than on arrival. The reduction is 25 per cent off accommodation, valid in each camp's Green or Shoulder Season, and it cannot be combined with other specials.
Can I put the honeymoon discount and the extra free night on the same stay?
No. The vow renewal and honeymoon reduction is explicitly not combinable with other specials, so you would choose between it and the stay four, pay three or stay eight, pay six structure. Both offers share the same 1 October to 19 December 2026 window, so the choice is usually about which produces the better net cost. Chalo Africa will run both and show you the figures.
