Both, depending on the season. When the floodwaters rise you travel by boat through the channels, and when summer warms the land you go out by game drive vehicle. The camp is surrounded by riverine forest and floodplain, so the changing water levels reshape what a day looks like.
What is the difference between the suites and the villas?
There are five expansive safari suites, and two villas which add a private plunge pool along with their own butler, chef, guide and vehicle. The villas suit a family or group wanting to travel independently of the main camp routine, while the suites give you the run of the shared spaces.
What are the rules for children?
Children of six and older are accommodated. Between six and 12, private activities must be booked and paid for, and children from six to 16 must share a tent with an adult. The minimum age for walking and mokoro activities is 13. Rates start from US$1,848 per person per night.
