Kandili Camp is an small, classic tented safari camp nestled within the private Leopard Gorge Conservancy, overlooking the iconic Olololo Escarpment and the plains of the Maasai Mara.
Just a short drive from the Mara Reserve, the camp’s 11 spacious, en-suite tents blend authentic safari style with comfort and stunning wilderness views. Guests enjoy exclusive access to exceptional wildlife experiences, from early morning game drives in the Mara and guided walks in the conservancy to sundowners with breath-taking views, bush walks and cultural experiences.
The conservancy and camp sit in an unparalleled position, land of the Big Cats, the well-known BBC documentary series Big Cats was filmed nearby.

What can we do here that is not allowed in the Reserve?
Because Kandili sits on the private Leopard Gorge Conservancy rather than inside the National Reserve, walks, night drives, sundowners and bush meals are all possible. Game drives can still head into the Mara, which is a short drive away, and the camp lies adjacent to prime game-viewing ground near Musiara.
How are children charged?
There is a clear scale. Children up to three sharing with adults stay free of charge, children of four to 12 sharing with an adult pay 50 per cent of the adult rate and 75 per cent in their own room, and from 13 years adult rates apply. Adults sharing triple accommodation are charged 85 per cent.
What is covered by the game package?
Full board accommodation, a welcome drink, a guided nature walk, one sundowner, shared game drives to a maximum of two a day, airstrip transfers, VAT, catering levy and service charges. Standard Tents are from US$422 per person per night in the quieter months, US$485 in early season and US$575 from July to October and over the festive period.
