Kubu Kubu is the latest addition to the portfolio of properties of Tanganyika Wilderness Camps. This camp is strategically located to ensure that all areas of the Serengeti are within reach of our guests, including legendary locations like the famous Maasai kopjes, the Museum of Olduvai Gorge, Seronera and the Grumeti River.
It has been designed with a modern African decorative style that creates a fresh and bright atmosphere, but very cozy and with the right amount of luxury. Guests can attend to the show of the Great Migration from the comfort of their tents.
Elegant tents built on raised wood platforms with an en-suite facilities and an outside shower. After a day on safari guests can enjoy a refreshing shower under the stars. Each tent has its own private terrace from where to enjoy the landscape and the environment. The family tent consists in two tents interconnected and a shared bathroom and private porch.

How does the family tent work?
A family tent is formed of two interconnected tents sharing a bathroom, with its own private porch. The standard tents are raised on wooden platforms with en-suite facilities, an outside shower for washing under the stars and a private terrace facing the landscape. Children of all ages are welcome.
What can you do besides game drives?
An hour-long hot air balloon safari over the savannah at dawn is the standout, and there is a guided tour to the Mbuwge tribe for a look at daily Maasai life. Back at camp, the lounge is arranged for intimacy, with armchairs and sofas, and the kitchen and wine list are given some attention.
Is it well placed for exploring the Serengeti?
The camp is positioned so that all areas of the park are within reach, including the Maasai kopjes, the Museum of Olduvai Gorge, Seronera and the Grumeti River. Rates start from US$334 per person per night in April and May, full board with drinking water, tea, coffee, soft drinks and house wines.
