Camp Details

5.0 / 51 rating

This organic, light-footed camp hidden away in the park, is probably closer to our hearts’ core than any other.

Tarangire country is big and bold: our camp is the opposite…a little gem. Full of heart and soul, and tucked into a grove of secluded riverside bush, it is so much at one with the wild that animals hardly look up as they do their thing around us. Elephants often pass right through camp, and we can be completely absorbed into their secret lives, from the sweet comfort of our sun-slatted living space.

WHY CHOOSE KURO TARANGIRE?

  • This area is great for walking, day and night drives, and particularly well known for big herds of buffalo and elephant, excellent general game and exceptional birdlife.
  • Easily accessible, combines perfectly with other camps in the Serengeti, and on the Ngorongoro Crater, with no compromise on style and comfort, in a truly outstanding setting.
  • In a grove of acacia trees, on the main game routes a stones throw from the banks of the Tarangire River.
