Standing proud above the plains, around a tumble of giant boulders.
You can see from this outcrop, the Kogakuria Kopje, for miles and miles. Over a million wildebeest cross these plains on their annual migration through the Serengeti to the Mara River, just down the track. Above it all, our beautiful kopje watches over and is a sacred wildlife haven – and our mission is to act as its faithful guardians.
8 open-fronted rooms, all with their own private & roomy verandas spread within the rocks and all have been sited with spectacular views and a unique vantage point and style. The main mess area has plenty of space to lounge, a bar and dining area, with adjoining library/map room and swimming pool.
All rooms have 24hr power and en-suite bathrooms with hot & cold running water, flush toilets and powerful showers. Three of the rooms are ideal for families, with two bedroomsand a shared adjoining bathroom.

Inclusions
Lamai Serengeti rates include: Fullboard accommodation, activities on a shared basis: game drives, short bush walks (seasonal), bush picnics; scheduled road transfers to/from Kogatende airstrip; drinks (except champagne & premium wines); laundry.
Child Policy
The minimum age at Lamai Serengeti is 8 years (and minimum of 12 years on any walking safari activity).
