Camp Details
Located in North Serengeti close to the river Mara in the Kogatende Area. Situated in the heart of the Migration from June to November with an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. The lodge consists of 16 tents with en suite facilities, including family rooms. It is divided into two camps, north and south. Guests at each of the two camps will use the Main House that includes lounges, restaurant, view deck and swimming pool. It has been designed and decorated in a modern African style that creates a fresh and light ambiance, very welcoming but with a touch of luxury. Guests can observe the Great Migration from the comfort of their tents. Elegant tents built on raised wood platforms with a private terrace overlooking the savannah. There is a choice of beds, a king size bed or two singles. The bedrooms have a bathroom with a bathtub and an outdoor shower. The family tent consists of two interconnected tents. The lodge lies in the north Serengeti close to the Mara River in the Kogatende area, and sits in the heart of the migration from June to November. Guests can watch the herds from the comfort of their own tents when the timing is right, and hot air balloon flights are available over the plains.
How is the lodge laid out?
There are 16 en-suite tents, divided between a north and a south camp, with guests from both using a shared Main House containing lounges, a restaurant, a view deck and a swimming pool. Tents sit on raised wooden platforms with private terraces, a bathtub and an outdoor shower, and family tents are two interconnected tents.
What is not included in the rate?
Special camping fees, that is the conservation fees, are charged separately, so factor those in. The rate itself, from US$377 per person per night in June and November, covers full board with three meals a day, drinking water, tea and coffee, soft drinks and house wines. Children of all ages are welcome.
