Set in the heart of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp offers a front-row seat to the spectacular calving season from December to March. Located in the lush Small Marsh area of Ndutu, the camp provides unparalleled access to herds gathering to graze and give birth, with predator activity adding an extra thrill. Late January to late February is particularly magical, as new life fills the plains.
The camp features 11 spacious tents (12m x 4m) made from durable, locally sourced rip-stop canvas with a cooling shade-cloth exterior. Each tent includes a private patio, bespoke furnishings, and mosquito-netted beds draped in fine cotton linens for ultimate comfort. Large netted windows allow for natural ventilation while keeping you connected to the surrounding wilderness.
The en-suite bathrooms are thoughtfully designed with ceramic washbasins, flushing toilets, and 20-liter bucket showers, complemented by eco-friendly toiletries and solar-powered lighting. The interiors reflect the natural tones of the landscape, creating a serene retreat amid the wild. Configurations range from single and double to family setups, catering to all types of travelers.
