Olakira Migration Camp moves twice a year, positioning itself in key locations to witness the best of the Great Migration.

From June to October, watch the wildebeest and zebra traverse the northern Serengeti, crossing the famous Mara River and its crocodile-infested waters. From December into March, visit our southern Serengeti location where the wildebeest give birth while lion, cheetah, and leopard prey on the old and the weak. Offering an upgraded migratory camp experience, the unique design of each guest tent allows for stargazing without leaving the comfort of your tent.

Olakira Migration Camp offers nine tents when settled in the southern region, one of which has two bedrooms for families. Meanwhile, the northern Serengeti setting has ten tents and two family units. When night falls, our unique mesh-covered stargazing tent design, complete with wooden decking, provides the perfect opportunity to sleep under beautiful skies. All tents have en suite bathrooms with solar-heated hot-water showers.
