Safarihoek has a double-storey photography hide that gives very close views of the reserve's wildlife. You do not need to be a photographer to enjoy it; it is simply the closest you will get to the animals without a vehicle between you and them.

There are 11 thatched chalets, cool, light and spacious, each with a private deck and 180-degree views over the landscape and waterhole, and eight of them have outdoor showers with a view. The lodge sits on a hill above a small waterhole, so you can watch wildlife from your room.
