Three thatch-roofed villas, reached at the end of a meandering wooden boardwalk. Each has generous indoor space to match the openness outside, and they are furnished with considerable flair. Horizon bills itself as the most luxurious and exclusive camp in Namibia, and the rate reflects that at NAD 50,800 per person per night.

What is the game viewing like?

Horizon sits on a 30,000 hectare private reserve with convenient access into Etosha National Park, and the reserve carries high densities of big game, including lion and both white and black rhino alongside plains game. Twice daily scheduled camp activities are included in the rate, as are park fees and local drinks.

Can children come?

Children of six and older are accommodated and take part in activities alongside other guests. Children between six and 16 must share a room with an adult, children of 12 and younger must be booked onto a private vehicle, and the minimum age for walking activities is 13.
