Encounter by Ongava is an immersive safari camp set deep within Ongava Game Reserve. Unfenced and surrounded by Mopane woodland, this is a place of immediacy, where wildlife moves freely through the landscape and the experience feels alive, unscripted, and close.

A productive waterhole sits in front of camp and draws a great many animals down to drink, so much of the day can be spent watching from the shade. The wider 30,000 hectare reserve holds high densities of big game, including lion and both white and black rhino.
What activities are included?
Twice daily scheduled activities cover both guided tours into Etosha National Park and drives on the Ongava reserve itself, along with park fees, all meals, laundry and local drinks, from NAD 17,300 per person per night. Children of six and older join activities with other guests, and walking activities start at 13.

- Children between 6 and 16 years must share with an adult/s in the same room.
