What are the rondavels like?
Accommodation is in stone-built, traditionally thatched rondavels with private balconies, blended into an acacia-lined ridge. It is a different proposition from canvas, and it suits guests who want a solid room with panoramic views across the grasslands.
Can we visit the Ngorongoro Crater from here?
Day trips to the prehistoric Ngorongoro Crater can be arranged, alongside private safaris, guided nature walks, Swahili lessons and massage treatments. There is also a private bush camp overlooking the migration for a different perspective.
What are the views and facilities like?
The lodge and its infinity pool look across the vast Serengeti grasslands where lions and cheetah hunt and migrating wildebeest herds pass through. There is a traditionally carved, domed dining room, a scenic safari bar with a timbered terrace, a central barbecue area and water gardens. Rates start from US$500 per room per night.
