How close is the hotel to Victoria Falls?
Close enough to walk. The Royal Livingstone sits on the Zambian bank of the Zambezi within Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, and all resort guests have free unlimited access to the Falls. You can hear the water from the grounds and raise a glass to it at sunset from the riverside terraces.
Is there wildlife around the grounds?
There is. Zebra wander the hotel grounds and come to graze near the river, so game watching happens between the hammocks and the pool rather than only on excursions. Spa therapies are given under the shade of monkey trees on the riverbank, and there is a well-equipped gym with bikes, treadmills and weights.
What works well for a honeymoon here?
Helicopter sightseeing over the Falls, a game viewing cruise on the Zambezi and other couples' activities are all offered, alongside African-inspired spa journeys beside the river.
