Mayukuyuku Bush Camp
Mayukuyuku (meaning water hitting rocks) is situated between the lightly wooded tree line and the Kafue riverbank.
This small, intimate camp has just 4 luxury en-suite permanent tents under thatched roofs with their own verandahs and hammocks, each one overlooking the river.
The main communal area has an open sided dining room with a small lounge and bar for an alfresco dining experience. It’s location affords fabulous views down the Kafue River in the daytime and often hippo or antelope can be seen grazing on the banks. In the evenings your three course meal is served in a cosy atmosphere with candles and lanterns. We only serve fresh produce prepared by our chefs with a big emphasis on fresh fruit and vegetables, and Zambian sourced meat and fish.
