Situated in the privately-owned, 43 000-acre Suyian Ranch in northwest Laikipia, Siruai is an authentic mobile safari camp, perched on a rocky ridgeline and overlooking the Ewaso Narok river valley and the Laikipia Plateau, with views of Mount Kenya in the distance.

Seven canvas tents are hidden amongst big granite boulders and fig trees, with spectacular views from their private verandas. Inviting beds, en-suite flushing lavatories and bucket showers, allow guests to relax in comfort, whilst feeling close to nature.

Yes, it is a private mobile camp for up to ten guests, so your party has it to itself. Seven canvas tents are hidden among granite boulders and fig trees on a rocky ridgeline, each with a private veranda looking over the Ewaso Narok river valley.

What sort of activities are on offer?

This is an outdoor, active camp rather than a game-drive-only one. Guests hike, kayak, tube down the river, explore the valleys, pools and waterfalls, and jump from the rocks if they are so inclined, across the privately owned 43,000-acre Suyian Ranch in north-west Laikipia.

How much does a stay cost?

Siruai is quoted per camp rather than per person, and current rates are not published online, so we obtain a quote for your dates and group size. As a mobile camp, availability is limited, and we would suggest asking early if you have fixed dates in mind.
