Visit one of the World’s seven wonders – Table Mountain

A visit to Cape Town is simply incomplete without an adventure hike up Table Mountain, the “Mother City’s” most iconic and world renowned tourist destination.

This graceful mountain that towers over Cape Town is a hikers paradise, with many awesome hiking trails that lead to the summit. These vary from leisurely climbs to more strenuous ascents – for those of us with an appetite for a good challenge and a bit of adventure! The summit of Table Mountain provides a spectacular panoramic view of Cape Town and the Atlantic coastline and is every bit worth the climb.

Nature lovers and photographers alike will enjoy a unique opportunity to hike amongst Table Mountains “fynbos”, the indigenous flora of the Cape Floral Kingdom which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Here, on the slopes of Table Mountain, it is carefully conserved as a proud natural emblem of Cape Town’s authentic beauty.

Our qualified and experienced hiking guides come well equipped and able to navigate the mountain, while abiding closely to safety regulations in order to ensure your wellbeing.

Take up the challenge today and conquer the famous Table Mountain by hiking to the summit.

Hike to meet us at the top for this mind-blowing experience. No climbing or abseiling experience is necessary to enjoy this incredible experience at one of the world’s most magnificent natural landmarks.

Day 6: Tandem Paragliding & Robben Island

– Getting high above Lions Head with 360 degree views and glimpsing Chapman’s Peak over the top of the Table Mountain Twelve Apostles is pretty special.

Day 7: Kite Surfing

– We teach absolute beginners the basics of Kitesurfing. – Afternoon at leisure

Day 8: Surfing

– Half Day Surfing – Expert guides will fill you in on surfers’ secrets of how to paddle out, read the ocean, catch a wave and how to control your body to stand up. We’ll start you on a mini-mal type board -perfect for starting out. Lessons are structured to take the absolute beginner from surfing zero to wave riding hero.
– Afternoon at leisure

Day 9: Skeleton Gorge Hike

Situated above Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Skeleton Gorge is a relatively hard hike up to Table Mountain. In some places there are ladders and so hikers need to be comfortable with climbing fixed wooden ladders. Walking through the Botanical Gardens is, in itself, a wonderful experience and worthy of a full day. Our Guide will plan your hike to take in a large part of the Botanical Gardens or alternatively, the hike can ascend Skeleton Gorge and either return to Kirstenbosch via another route or follow Smut’s trail to Maclear’s Beacon and then down via the Cable Car or Platteklip Gorge.

The hike up the Gorge, along Smut’s track and down Table Mountain is a full day and a good level of fitness is required. Should hikers wish to cover all the trails they can be managed as separate day walks to account for all levels of fitness.

Day 10 & 11: Backup Days & Rest

Back up weather days or rest days.

Day 12: Transfer Homewards

Transfer to airport for your journey homewards.
