Botswana Photo Safari: Chobe & Okavango Delta
US$ 9,850 per person for a 8-day safari
The Chobe River and The Okavango Delta.
Experience big game viewing like no other in the extraordinary Okavango Delta of Botswana. The fan-shaped Okavango Delta is like no other: a combination of palm-fringed waterways and islands, thick woodland and open dryland plains. It is the largest intact inland delta in the world, flooded annually by the rainwaters of the Angola highlands.
The delta offers a combination of game drives, walking safaris and mokoro rides. It consists of several stunning private game reserves, such as Moremi, Khwai and others.
Best months to visit: Peak seasons months are from July to October when the Delta begins to flood. This is the dry season.
Months that can be avoided: November to March is the when the Delta water levels are low. It is also the wet season making wildlife viewing more difficult.
